Pomposa

The musical lido full of inspiration

The bell tower, erected in 1063, is over 40 meters high and is one of the most beautiful Romanesque bell towers.
Pomposa hosted Dante Alighieri and was the residence of Guido Monaco, who, according to tradition, invented the musical scale right here.
