A few kilometers from Castello della Mesola is the Boschetto di Santa Giustina, which, with its rich undergrowth, stretches like a thin line for 4 km from the Po di Goro to Torre Abate. It is possible to enter the forest on foot by following one of the wide paths that run through it.
The total area is about 100 hectares, a remnant of the eastern part of the Estensi's estate in Mesola, and it is one of the most interesting spots for ecological and nature tourism because of the vegetation and wild avifauna present.
